overlapping ROC

  • This abstract was presented as a poster at the 22nd European Association of Urology (EAU) congress, 21-24 March 2007, Berlin, Germany.
  • It shows in 570 men scheduled for biopsy that the performance of the PCA3 Assay is equivalent in men undergoing first/initial biopsy (1st Bx) compared to those undergoing repeat biopsy after previous negative biopsy(ies).
  • This is confirmed by overlapping ROC (receiver-operating characteristics) curves and comparable sensitivity and specificity (Figure).
