Clinical progression
The
cancer is becoming more severe. The patient progresses from one clinical
stage to another (worse) clinical stage. This may be accompanied by the
development of symptoms such as difficulties with urination (e.g. weak
stream, dribbling after urinating or the need to urinate often) when the
tumour spreads beyond the prostate or lower back pain when the tumour spreads
to more distant places such as the bones
