Tumour spreads beyond the prostate
The tumour spreads outside of the prostate to surrounding tissues such as the seminal vesicles. As the cancer enlarges, the prostate presses on the urethra, the flow of urine from the bladder diminishes and urination becomes more difficult. As the tumour continues to grow it can completely block the flow of urinary, resulting in a painfully obstructed and enlarged bladder
